 | Dr. Baker ministered about the necessity of moving away from a victim's mentality in order to change our destiny. Sunday's sermon discussed dissecting the thoughts of our minds in order to exchange a defeated mentality for a victorious one. She used 3 John 1 and Proverbs 16:1 to illustrate God's desire for us to prosper, be in health and have a prosperous soul as well as an ordered mind.
On Wednesday she ministered on walking in The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. In order to begin to do so we need to understand that God is absolutely honest, and He rules with absolute power and authority. Because all things are subject to His word and His power, it is impossible for Him to lie or to fail. He is completely God. Although men do fear Him, our area of falling short encompasses our failure to walk in the Spirit of the fear of the Lord.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: His praise endureth forever. Psalm 111:10
